The story of a family business
Sacchetto is an Italian family-run company, producing starches, alcohol and proteins from wheat and rice derivatives since 1946. It is a leader in the home market, and boasts an increasing presence abroad.
Our head office is located in a land of thriving businesses and stunning landscapes: in Lagnasco, in the province of Cuneo, in the Italian region of Piedmont. From here, every morning you can watch the magnificent Monviso mountain tower above everything, surrounded by wheat fields, fruit orchards, and hilly vineyards declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The company is run by the founder’s sons Giuliano and Giuseppe Sacchetto, together with grandsons Paolo, Alberto and Federico.
Investments in engineering, research and development, and the creation of cutting-edge production plants have always been the company’s driving force.
