Rice derivatives
Our rice derivatives are extracted from rice caryopses (Japonica and Waxy varieties) that are subjected to processes of disintegration and decomposition. After the grinding, skimming and sifting processes, we proceed to washing with water and drying.
We thereby obtain different qualities of starches, proteins and rice crystals, all of them organic and non-organic.
These products are widely used not only in the food sector, but also in the cosmetic (for babies and adults), pharmaceutical and animal feed industries.
Rice derivatives have many beneficial qualities encompassing a diverse range of applications: they are hypoallergenic, easily digestible, heat-stable, gluten-free and neutral-tasting.
Among the most common starches, rice starch has the finest particle size, which makes it especially suitable as a thickening agent.
